Sound Effects / SFX AV

We went all in with Sound Effects for our new construction home in Show Low, including audio, video, internet, security, lighting and window shades that are operated both by motor and manually. The various phases of the project were handled very professionally, including 'wish list' brainstorming, design, edits for changes and cost, planning, pre-wire, and installation. It was a complex process that was executed with great service and attention to detail. Our needs and budget were always respected, with good communication throughout the experience. They gave us helpful advice and suggestions to maximize value and ease of use. We did work with a variety of people at SFX who were experts in their own lanes and we had a main project manager to oversee everything. His name is Mike Grossman, and I highly recommend him. His knowledge and communication are outstanding. Dan Pena handled our window coverings and they turned out spectacularly. We are very happy with the user interface (C4) they provided. It is reliable and easy to use. Our light switches are 'smart' and I highly recommend them to clean up what would otherwise be a messy panel of toggle switches. Everyone at SFX is to be commended for the success of our project. In addition to the names mentioned previously, Doug (design and planning), Matt (purchasing and warehousing), April (scheduling) and of course Brad Caviar (top management), were all amazing (among others I may have missed here). I strongly endorse SFX for any and all home automation projects!!

Just added 2 outdoor speaker zones to our already robust Sound Effects custom home technology and it reminded me how top notch this company is. Great design, products and installation. True professionals.

I’d like to believe your company does good work, I have never nor probably will never have a smart home though. I was unable to see if there was a “how’s my driving” bumper sticker due to the rush hour traffic, but one of your drivers was on the 60 this morning around 5:45-6:00 completely driving with his lights off. I tried flashing him to get his attention but he kept driving in the dark, in the left lane(mind you that early that’s not a major thing). Please take this feedback to reinforce rules of the road with your crews. Attached a photo from my dashcam: on the side of the black vehicle pictured it says clearly in red Sound Effects across the back top of the cab. I know it’s not readable but this was how I used it to find the company.

IF 10 stars were available, they would be checked. Sound Effects hit it out of the park...Sales, Billing, Customer Service, and Follow-up. We made a call and Brad Caviar, Co-owner and VP sales answered on the first ring. Brad showed up the next day, helped us diagnose a fix for our current TV which he scheduled almost immediately so were not without while waiting on new equipment. From there the team that jumped into action was outstanding: Nicole in Billing, April in Scheduling, Seth that installed the quick fix, John Project Manager, Logan and Josh who installed the new equipment, Dillon who helped out with an unexpected issue. If extra parts were needed, someone brought them over same day. After installation, we were contacted to see if we needed any additional training. Ryan showed up and did an astounding job of making our interaction with our devices even easier. Bottom line, Sound Effects is the best choice when looking to upgrade current equipment or install a new system. Sound Effects is the 3rd company we have dealt with regarding our AV needs. By far the best!! As a side note, every employee talked about how much they enjoyed working for this company...Management takes care of them!!

Chris & Seth are absolute rockstars. I was very impressed with the backyard install job they did for my Sonos speakers. These guys are the most professional and hard working group I’ve ever worked with. Great on pricing and was able to get the job done in one quick morning. They will be doing all my future jobs! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We found SFX AV because my sister saw one of their trucks. Best find ever! I called help because our TV connections were all from a remodel in 2008 with 2008 technology. Zach came out to the house 2 days after the call and diagnosed what was going on, made some fantastic suggestions and is helping us get to 2024. He was helpful, knowledgeable and courteous! Looking forward to our next steps with SFX AV!
