We were in town for the week of Thanksgiving and stopped in to get plates, balloons, etc for my daughter’s birthday. The two ladies working were so nice and helpful. It makes a big difference when people are friendly and polite. I saw them smiling and laughing and striking up nice conversations with different people in line and just wanted to leave them a good review :)

I love to clearance shop with Dollar General. Amelia is one of my top two favorite managers in Baldwin County. She's very sweet. Her store is always clean & organized.

I wonder if in this particular Dollar General is part of the company policies to denies the restrooms to clients. I’m mean in the next one which is a couple of miles away they don’t denies the restrooms to costumers. Any way if is not, they should let the workers know what are the Dollar General Policies. Today they lost a client, I bought all my laundry staff in the Rouses that is next to them.

The help seem to change on reg basis as i buy at many across gulf and this is sometimes a prob as i am disabled and deft.masks stop me from reading lips. Oh great . Only my prob. In all life.clean well stocked.

You should be ashamed. The restroom at your Hwy 225 store in Spanish Fort AL has been out of order since June. You put a porta potty outside for customers and employees. Pathetic and unacceptable! How many new stores have been built since June? But you can't fix the bathroom? Respect your employees and customers and fix this bathroom. Manager Marcela handled the situation professionally and friendly but you can do better Dollar General. Your employees have to be the ones to tell customers why they can't use the restroom at your store. She said y'all are working on it... No, if you were working on it, the bathroom would be fixed by now. You're building stores every few miles so you know for a fact you could have torn down this store and built a new one in the 5 months that you have not repaired this bathroom. Do better, DG, do better. Let's see you have to use a portable toilet outside in the parking lot every day that you're at work and see how fast the issue gets fixed. This is disgusting and unprofessional and makes DG look like terrible employers.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, but shelves seemed poorly stocked. Also some of the posted sales weren't ringing up and required manner overrides - and yet I still didn't get the items for the posted sales price.
