They have sales that are incorrect and would not approve the price. It was on an end cap that it was the closest item to the sign on the end cap and they would not override the incorrect price, saying that one item would not qualify but I'd have to pick through which one would. The manager came over lied and said she did not care she wasn't going to approve despite the sign saying 50% off.

The store is huge but has a lot of empty shelves. There wasn't a big selection of anything and the big "sale" was a joke. Items were way overpriced and looked shabby. The only saving redemption was the friendly cashier as we exited the store empty handed. We stopped for a brief but very pleasant conversation. I hope she takes that smile and courtesy to another place when they close. Best wishes.

I visited the Rainbow City location on Oct 25, 2024. I was going to purchase washing detergent that was on sale for 50% off. The sign was displayed but the detergent wasn't the size/ounce that was on the sign. There were 3 different ounces on the shelves and neither was the one on sale. When I asked mgr (Deana) about this, she stated it was only the 138 oz and we're out. I asked why all the other ounces were on the shelves above the signs and she stated some children must have moved them! (there were several) It was 10 am and children are in school. I don't think toddlers could lift the detergent and place on the tall shelves! The signs or the detergent were placed wrong! Her attitude and demeanor was very unprofessional. Walking away, not willing to listen, or address the issue.

I went into big lots of Rainbow City on 10/13/23 and was very impressed. All of the employees were very friendly. The store was very clean and you could easily find all the products that you would need. They had a very big selection of top brand products and plenty of them as well so all in all, I was very pleased with my experience shopping at the Rainbow City Big Lots!

This is one of my favorite places to shop. They carry most anything you'll need. I particularly like the limited time deals. They get new items regularly it's like walking into a new store every time I visit, you never know what you'll find.

Good experience at this Big Lots! Deana was very nice and helped me a lot when I was looking for a recliner. She made the process a breeze. I've went back and bought some other furniture since then, never had a problem out of any of it.

The store is really nice with a wide variety of merchandise. The store and restroom were very clean. The main problem here is their piped in music that the employees hate as much as I do. All that ridiculous so-called music made me want to leave. It was too loud as well. That will keep me from coming back. It's not just on this visit, but all past visits too. It's not the employee's fault.
