Not bad but expensive for what it is. AC was great! Beds were very comfortable. Very kind and professional staff. Decent space. Okay breakfast. Bathroom did smell like mildew though. The price does not match the room though but the experience was good.

I stayed here for 5 nights and was very pleased with my stay. Quick and efficient check-in and check out. Every interaction with staff was friendly and helpful. My King room was very clean, with a comfortable bed/pillows and cozy decor. The free breakfast offered several options when I went down before 7am: sausage, egg, waffles, toast, fruit, cereal, pastries, yogurt, etc. One morning there were grits and biscuits. I noticed that the front desk personnel addressed issues in a timely manner and provided excellent customer service. I felt safe here and will use Sleep Inn again when I am in the area.

It was my parents' weekend at Marion Military Institute. The hotel was sold out. I reserved a king with sleeper for three adults and, of course, no bedding for the sleeper couch, a pet peeve of mine, especially when obviously I booked a third person. The pillows are small, and all very soft should be a variety. The TV is too small for the room, and audio is difficult to hear. The pool never looked like it had been cleaned, and the lights were off. There are numerous hand disinfectant stations throughout the hotel, two by the breakfast area and all empty. The breakfast bar was Spartan.. one choice of bread, no ketchup or salsa for the cold, dry eggs. Same choices both mornings. On the positive, the coffee was hot, and there were some nice kitties outside which are being fed, so that is kind, and we appreciate that. There was some water damage in the bathroom and the sink drain has black mold around it . I feel like just too many shortcuts are being taken even at this level of hotel . You can tell that this is being operated likely by owner manager, and they do live here with their children. We have not seen housekeeping the entire stay. Oddly, a few of us were locked out of our rooms and had to get our keys redone on our second night. The hotel next door advertises they are 24/7 and have some questionable guests that stand in the road. I would go ahead and just make the drive from Montgomery or Birmingham in the future.

The location of the hotel is the primary reason I stayed at this location. After reading the reviews, I was worried about the condition and cleanliness of the hotel. I asked to see a room before checking in and was relieved the room did not smell (as noted in a prior review) and was very clean. I was comfortable staying there for two nights. The breakfast was very limited as far as selection, so I hope the managers make some improvements in this area. Two of the front office staff, Elizabeth and Jeff, were very friendly upon check in.

Was in town to celebrate my Aunt Evelyn Turner's 89th birthday. Provision were made even though this was a busy weekend for Marion. We were able to get a room. Everything was great!

Rooms are very dated and smelled musty. TV remote didn’t work. Almost no cell service but that’s just the rural nature of the location I believe. The young lady who did check in was very friendly and kind but the young man working the front desk the next morning sat in the cafe area on his phone while guests were there. There was almost no food available on the buffet at 7:30 am and 2 guests had to ring the bell to get his attention for service. Unfortunately this is the only hotel in town.

The front desk was kind. The room condition was absolutely deplorable. The smell of mold hit us in the face as soon as we opened the door. I was honestly scared to stay but there were no other nearby options available. We only stayed in the room to sleep. My young son and I both were ill the following morning with my daughter and partner beginning to cough and wheeze by the afternoon. I'm more than disappointed in our experience and will never recommend this hotel chain as a result.
