Fantastic place to get an auto loan. We had the pleasure of dealing with Jennifer Thomas. She was friendly, fast, and extremely professional. This is by far the most hassle free loan process we have ever experienced. We were in and out in less than 30 minutes. She followed up with us and with the dealer to make sure we had everything we needed to finalize the process in order to apply for the new title. The communication was excellent. Even though her office is very busy, she always returned calls and emails promptly. We had a great experience and would highly recommend FSCU in Guntersville. I give them an A+ for customer service!

i have been with this credit union for a while now. As far as i can tell there is no real benefits compared to a regular bank. Take for instance the process of securing an auto loan. This credit unit has an application fee! that i think is down right stupid. the apr at the time of this review is about 7%. I was able to apply through a dealership for free and got a lower apr! the dealer makes lenders compete for your interest payments. Family security thinks you should pay them for the privilege of paying them a higher interest rate than other lenders. When i asked them why would i pay a loan application fee and secure a loan through them at a higher interest rate when i could apply for FREE through many other lenders and get a lower APR? The answer i got was "thats a good question." lol! They don't even know why they are backwards on this.

family security is by far the best credit union/bank in creation, but this particular branch is the best of them all!! bless them, and especially bless their well kept, clean restrooms

Zero Stars!!!!! Was with them for 5+ years and when I needed something simple I was treated with such disrespect. I don't recall the woman's name but she is the one that sits in the office directly to the left when you walk in. Very nasty judgmental individual!!!

I'm very thankful of family security! When I go into a branch I'm able to talk to "someone" other than a machine. Also it's hard to be there interest rates.
