Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Hughes Funeral Home. My father passed away a few years ago and they were wonderful through everything with him and unfortunately I lost my husband a month ago and I knew exactly who to use for everything. They were compassionate, caring and truly were there for me and my family during the hardest time. I would highly recommend using them. Benjie, Susan and Garrett helped me and all of them were wonderful. Thank you for a great experience during a very hard time in my life. I’ll forever be grateful for making it an easy process. 🩵

My daughters and I couldn’t be happier with the awesome service we received from Hughes Funeral Home recently. Everyone on their staff was very kind and respectful during such a difficult time. From the moment they came to our home to pickup our loved one, until they arrived with him at the cemetery in North Alabama, a 6 hour drive away, everything was taken care of, flawlessly. My girls and I will never forget their kindness. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Hughes and their staff has been such a confirm to us during this difficult time. They took care of everything and answered every question which gave us the room to grieve without worries of anything else. Even since my mother’s funeral they have called us and sent cards to check on us which confirmed even more we made the right decision. I can’t thank them enough for the support and confirm they have shown.

I hate to say I “enjoyed” working with them, since my mother passed away, but it was a very pleasant experience. They were easy to work with and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. Everyone was so nice and understood that we didn’t have a clue about how to handle everything. They took their time and didn’t rush us through picking out flowers and just having discussions between the family. I hope I don’t need them again soon but i won’t hesitate to use them in the future. My mother would’ve been happy with her service.
